International conference #GoodGovernanceSport Sofia, Bulgaria 04 June 2021 Logistics We cordially invite you to the international conference on Good Governance in Sport, organized by the international partner consortium of the project "Good governance in sport" co-funded by "Erasmus+" Programme of the European Union's. The #GoodGovernanceSport project aims to find a way to analyze, collect and promote practices in terms of adequate visibility of decisions made, decision-making stakeholders, transparency of public funding in sports organizations. Therefore, we would like to invite scientists and other experts from various fields of life and sport to share their knowledge, good practices and continue the transfer of knowledge. Presenters offer insight and exchange of ideas in the form of presentations, workshops and roundtable discussions with trainers, educators, researchers, business partners and decision makers at all levels. The fascinating meeting place in Sofia offers many advantages and a convenient location for a successful event. After the conference, speakers have the opportunity to publish (with the ISBN code) in English.
Venue: National Sports Academy "Vassil Levski", meeting room A1 ABSTRACTS for 20 minute English language presentations should be submitted by 15 May, 2021 to info@bulsport.bg with subject reference: “GGS Conference” in your email. Please also indicate in your abstract with its letter code, which of the above topics in particular meets the focus of your proposed presentation of 15/20 minutes. Early expressions of interest are appreciated. Proposals should include: 1. the author’s full name, institutional affiliation and email address; 2. the title of the presentation; 3. which one of the below main topic areas are you to address in particular?; 4. an abstract of 300-500 words, summarizing the paper’s scope and conclusions; 5. a brief bio of the author(s) of maximum 400 words. Main topic areas (please note that all papers should be clearly linked to Good governance in sport): A. Good governance in sport; B. Good practices in sport and physical activity in Europe regarding good governance; C. Integrity of sport; D. Transparency in leadership; E. Innovative, fair and development focussed management; F. Innovative postgraduate education for sport experts; G. Current trends in sport and physical activity. We welcome submissions from doctoral students and emerging scholars, too.

Due to limited possibility for approved speakers, we will create a selection committee, based on the topics for presentations and results will be available until May 20, 2021. Please note, that the Conference does not have any participation fees, but the Local organizing committee does not cover any travel, accommodation or substance costs of the participants. |
